Ramsgate: Saturday 25th April

Ramsgate: Saturday 25th April
Introduction to free-form quilting
Maker’s House, Ramsgate
Saturday 25th April
10.00 am – 4.30 pm
During this small group workshop you will be taken through a free form approach to quilting, as well as learning the necessary techniques to make your own small sized quilt or wallhanging. The workshop will be held in Ramsgate at the newly renovated Georgian Maker’s House.
We will start by looking at inspiration and explore the creative approach taken to improvise the design of a quilt. We will then work through the process of creating your own quilted textile piece, that’s personal to you, exploring a way to quilt that suits you. At the end of the day you will have a beautiful piece of work and the skills to create more!
